Andrew trained as a photographer during a long career as a Detective with West Yorkshire Police, specialising in surveillance photography. On leaving the Police Andrew concentrated on developing his photography skills in the world of professional bike racing. He is now firmly established as a cycling photographer and during the cycling season can be found at the main events across the country.
Andrew is a regular contributor of photographs and written features to cycling publications including Cycling Weekly, the British Cycling website, Cycling Plus magazine and Cyclingnews.com. His photography has also featured in The Times, Sunday Times and Telegraph newspapers, and numerous regional newspapers across the country. All the major UK based professional teams use Andrew Kennedy images in their marketing and publicity material.
Away from photography Andrew is an award winning poultry keeper with an interest in the countryside. When not working at cycle races Andrew photographs agricultural and country shows in the North of England
