Q. Will the Kennedy Images watermark appear on my printed photos?
A. No, the watermark is only on the web image to assert our copyright, and prevent un-authorised use of the image. Your photograph will be watermark free.
Q. How long will my order take to be processed?
A. Digital downloads will be sent via MaiBigFile.com as soon as we open your order. Photographs and magazine covers usually within 5 days, but if quiet 3 days. We produce our prints on a Canon Professional photo printer and use 1st class postage. At busy times we can take a little longer, but pride ourselves on a speedy service.
Q. Can I use the image for publication on my website/club magazine/local newspaper/ company brochure etc?
A. If you have paid us for a print or digital image, you have our permission to use that image for personal use, including newsletters, club media, your website and avatar. For commercial use, including newspaper and magazine articles you need our written permission as the copyright holders. A payment based on NUJ freelance photography publication fees will be payable, by the newspaper or magazine using the image.
Q. Will my printed photograph be the same quality as the web image?
A. No. The web image is set at a very low resolution, to allow for quick loading of pages. The photographic prints are produced at maximum resolution resulting in a top quality picture.
Q. How do I book you for an event, and how much do you charge?
A. If you would like us to photograph your event then please use the 'contact us' page. We are now taking bookings for events in 2012/2013. For our team to photograph a charity/challenge or sportive cycling event there would be a booking fee. However if you require a photographer for a special occasion, we charge from as little as £30 per hour.
Q. How do I obtain a photograph taken by Kennedy Images, which is not currently shown on your website?
A. No problem. we archive all our images, and will be able to supply you. Contact us by email or phone. We will find the image, send you a thumbnail print to confirm it is correct, then print and post it to you.
Q. I have seen an image taken by you on another website, how do I order it?
A. We supply images to lots of other websites and agencies. Email us with the reference number on the website, and where you saw it, we will print and post it to you. The prices for all our prints are as shown on the pricing page.
Q. Can I order the spoof Cycling News magazine cover using one of my own images?
A. Yes you can. We have done lots of magazine covers using the customers own cycling image, get in touch and we will sort it out for you.
